This is me on the left April 2019 ago on the beach. I’m now 61 and weigh 68 kilos only 5 kilos heavier then before 3 children. I have kept my shape. I have been through menopause and I have managed to keep the weight off. I swim every 2nd day and go to the gym 3 times a week. I don’t eat a lot but I eat enough and I am well with no physical complaints. I was an ex fitness trainer for 25 years and I was always moderate with my exercise. I have an optimum mindset obviously.  Don’t let anyone tell you that you cant do it when you get older. I know a lot about how to keep that weight off at this age and over 50. I know what works for me and it could for you. Of course you may have other factors at play like medication other injuries but we know that losing weight can improve so many things, diabetes, back complaints. I take a holistic approach to losing weight in and out of hypnosis there are things to do – I am very talented but you still have to exercise and eat right. I can say to you there is no calorie counting, Hate that is so boring.
If you are at that stage and that gut is creeping on where there wasn’t one before now is the time to do something about it so the battle can be won now and not fought later much harder..

If you have used a diet plan successfully in the past you can bring that diet to hypnosis and I will give you the suggestions you need to help you achieve your weight loss again with the same diet. Whether its Jenny Craig, Keto, low carb, vegetables only, intermittent fasting Ill put it into the hypnosis sessions and program you for success again whatever your diet was that worked before.

We will tap into that motivation and refresh your memory with images and feelings of you being at that happy weight whilst in the session. We will get you into the right mindset and build and reinforce your belief that you can successfully lose that weight again with that plan.

Julie has never cooked a home meal -she was phobic about cooking and went to MacDonald’s every day. she did shift work and had sleeping problems as well not being able to get up on time. Julie was more interested in developing good habits around food like how to eat 3 meals only a day, what to eat and to stop eating the crap. With hypnosis and counselling Julie stopped going to MacDonald’s and started to eat breakfast and lunch and taking dinner to work. Julie decided to order her meals in until she gets around to cooking for herself. I also gave her hypnosis to wake up on time and exercise regularly. Julie has lost 4 kilos in the 6 weeks.

then I relapsed and started snacking again on sugary treats and put on 10 kilos. I came to I came to see Cathy for hypnosis and after 1 session I stopped snacking amazing I did have 2 sessions in the end but as I said I stopped after one session. Cathy gave me a cd to listen to at home as well for 30 days and really helped me identify why I started to snack again

Studies showing the success of hypnosis as a therapy to lose weight.

Studies show that people who combine diet and exercise with Hypnosis lose more weight than they do with diet and exercise alone” – Allure Hypnosis has one of the highest rates of success for keeping the weight off long term

Hypnosis Over 30 Times as Effective for Weight Loss Investigated the effects of hypnosis in weight loss for 60 females, at least 20% overweight. Treatment included group hypnosis with metaphors for ego-strengthening, decision making and motivation, ideomotor exploration in individual hypnosis, and group hypnosis with maintenance suggestions. Hypnosis was more effective than a control group: an average of 17 lbs lost by the hypnosis group vs. an average of 0.5 lbs lost by the control group, on follow-up. Cochrane, Gordon; Friesen, J. (1986). Hypnotherapy in weight loss treatment. Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 54, 489-492. Two Years Later: Hypnosis Subjects Continued To Lose Significant Weight 109 people completed a behavioral treatment for weight management either with or without the addition of hypnosis. At the end of the 9-week program, both interventions resulted in significant weight reduction. At 8-month and 2-year follow-ups, the hypnosis subjects were found to have continued to lose significant weight, while those in the behavioral-treatment-only group showed little further change.

Hypnosis Subjects Lost More Weight Than 90% of Others and Kept it Off Researchers analysed 18 studies comparing a cognitive behavioural therapy such as relaxation training, guided imagery, self monitoring, or goal setting with the same therapy supplemented by hypnosis.
